Skiving

The application of Skiving tools is necessary to produce round and dimensionally accurate bore holes with high quality surfaces. Skiving tools are finishing tools which are equipped with two diagonally arranged skiving inserts. The skiving inserts are mounted pendular to the main body of the tool. The chipping of low cutting depths with accordingly designed skiving inserts ensure the high quality surfaces.
